Alicorn

Alicorn Cowl, a free knitting pattern from Knitty.com. Free knitting pattern for a softly cabled cashmere cowl.

INTRODUCTION

Alicorn

beauty shot

Tangy

This super soft cashmere cowl can be knit in two sizes – a smaller version for those that like a simple cowl, and a double version for those that like to loop their cowl or have more versatility when wearing it.

An alicorn is another word for a unicorn’s horn, and the gentle swirl of stitches on the cowl mimics the appearance of a spiral horn. A luxurious cashmere cowl that has swirls like a unicorn’s horn... what could be more magical than that?
