Tangy

Do you secretly miss wearing all your old concert t-shirts, but don’t want to wear them because... um, because they’re old concert t-shirts?

This sweater brings back the style without bringing on the embarrassment. Now you can have that old rock n’ roll look without having to admit that you were once Iron Maiden fan, that you still know the lyrics to every Rush song, and that way down in the back of your closet is every album by Mötley Crüe. On vinyl.

Zippers
Zipper choice is a matter of personal preference. The zipper on the sweater shown is plastic, with a ring pull. Regarding length, my policy with zippers is to order one two or three inches longer than I think I need (and only after the sweater is finished and blocked), because the length always magically changes when I sew it in; often there's a small and inevitable amount of stretching or scrunching of the work). Once it's sewn in, I snip off the extra length and melt the ends with a lighter.

ssp: Slip next 2 sts knitwise, one at a time, to right needle. Slip them both, purlwise, back to left needle. Purl them together through their back loops.

2x2 Rib (Worked over a multiple of 4 sts + 2):
Row 1 [RS]: [K2, p2] to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 2 [WS]: [P2, k2] to last 2 sts, p2.
Repeat these 2 rows for 2x2 Rib.
