INTRODUCTION

Butterbloom

beauty shot

Tangy

Butterbloom is a lightweight, comfortable tee with a not-too-deep V-neck, an easy to wear A-line shape, and short set-in sleeves.

Butterbloom is knit flat in pieces and seamed. The deep body hem is worked in a zigzag lace pattern shaped with centred double decreases, creating a scalloped edge and dramatic swoops without patterning on the wrong side. Once the lace is complete, body decreases are worked at dart lines in easygoing stockinette.

The short sleeves with a garter hem are super quick to knit and provide enough coverage to keep the sun off your shoulders. A simple garter stitch edging is worked around the neck with a tidy mitre at the centre.

Train Case by Mrs Crosby is a smooth, fingering weight yarn with soft superwash merino and Outlast® fibre, which helps absorb and release heat from the body to keep you cool and comfortable – perfect for warm-weather knits!
