Art Yarns

Who said it's boring to knit in one color? That's definitely not the case if you start playing with different fibers from Artyarns: the same colourway in merino and silk will have completely different textural pattern and yet work beautifully together when combined into the same garment.

The right combination of yarns can add bust and waist shaping without the headache of increases and decreases. Just get the gauges right and you're halfway done!

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Laura Zukaite was born in Lithuania 22 years ago…with knitting needles in her hands. (Mom says, "ouch.") Her four American years place her happily at Parson’s School of Design in NYC.

Laura’s design work isn’t limited to the classroom. You can find her needles clicking away on the train to Scarsdale (a founding Yarnista of Sticks and Strings yarn shop,) or while exploring her colorful Manhattan neighborhood.
