Just like the big one, this sweater is worked with columns of leafy plants. A ribbed shawl collar circles the neck.

Wear it to bust some bad guys, or just to look good.

Note: Sweater is designed to be worn with cuff turned up approx. 1.5 inches. Keep this in mind when determining sleeve length.

Shape Sleeve Cap

WS Decrease Row: P2, p2tog, p to last 4 sts, p2tog tbl, p2.

Block all pieces. Sew shoulder seams.

Collar
With RS facing and beginning at lower front corner of right front, pick up and k 3 sts for every 4 rows along lower front edge to bottom of neckline shaping, 2 sts for every 3 rows along right neckline edge, place marker (this marker will be designated "right marker"), 1 st for each row and bound off st along back neckline, place marker (this marker will be designated "left marker"), 2 sts for every 3 rows along left neckline edge and 3 sts for every 4 rows along lower left front edge.

Count the number of sts on your needle. You need to have a multiple of 6 sts + 5: decide how many sts must be increased or decreased to reach an appropriate number. Increase or decrease these sts evenly over the next row.

Next Row [RS]: K4, p3, [k3, p3] to last 4 sts, k4.
This row sets 3x3 Rib for the collar. Work in 3x3 Rib as set throughout the rest of the Collar.

Buttonholes
Next Row [RS]: K4, BO 3 sts, work 14[17, 20] sts (15[18, 21] sts on right needle after bound off sts), BO 3 sts, work 14[17, 20] sts, BO 3 sts, work to end.

Next Row [WS]: [Work to buttonhole, CO 3 sts] 3 times, work to end.

Continue in 3x3 Rib as set until ribbing is 1.5 inches deep at lower front edge.

BO all sts loosely.

Sew sleeves into armholes. Sew sleeve and side seams; when sewing sleeve seams, sew lower 2.5 inches of cuff with seam allowances on RS, so that they will not show when cuff is turned back.

Sew buttons onto left front, in line with buttonholes.
