It's been raining for a week solid here in the NE and Saturday looks better than it's been. Boots are a good idea because the ground will likely be muddy. I don't know if there's paved walkways there or not, maybe someone could enlighten me?
All said, Saturday and Sunday should be a bit of relief from the constant downpours we've had. Hopefully.

I've never been to Rhinebeck, and I"m not going to make it this year, but this is a perfect tiem to get those clear boots to show off the handknit socks!! ;) Just a suggestion..
It's so funny. (Well, not really) - I was looking out the window this morning and I thought "man, I hope this rain stops" It might be a muddy Rhinebeck. BUT leave it to me to get all twisted - Mud fights can be fun, sloppin' around like pigs might be exciting, even falling down in some! Who knows. I can't go this year, but I will be there in spirit, *yearning to shop for fiber*...........
According to Accuweather, from here in the land of weather weenies, you are due for a break Saturday (70 degrees, rain breaking) and Sunday (64 degrees, partly cloudy, shower in spots) so all is not lost. The "real feel" temp will be more in the 50's though. Sweater weather!!
The weather weenie comment is because 25% of all working meteorologists are grads of PSU's meteorology department. We are all weather obsessed.

Weather obsessed? That's only because the football team's been lousy for a few years. But with last weekend's win...
Anyway, the rain has to stop by Saturday. It has to. I haven't seen the sun in at least a week, and I'm starting to feel mopey. Plus, I don't want to have to drive up there in the rain. So, since I say it has to stop, then it has to.

It has been raining about 90% of the time here on LI since Katrina, and solidly for about the last ten days! Even being outside in the rain watching the muddy sheep will be great.
