lacewings est fini!

My model: the beautiful Tamarah.

I just love what blocking does for this baby.

I am also stunned that I am someone that loves what blocking does for the lace shawl I just knit. How did that happen?

[for those who missed it, this pattern is available only at Lettuce Knit. Yes, they will do mail order. Call them.

p.s. BGK2 seasilk is back off the needles. It was sucking big black holes of not-good-enough and I have to try again. Again.

Comments:
The shawl is glorious and the model is gorgeous!

Isn't it cool, all the little pleasures we discover through knitting? I definitely hear you on the "how did I become someone who gets off on blocking??" It's definitely a thrill you just can't describe to a non-knitter. :)

Wow, beautiful shawl. Blocking scares me :o(

I have yet to try knitting a lace shawl, but the new yarn shop in London, Stash Yarns is selling SeaSilk and it. is. amazing. Soooo beautiful. I think I may have to splash out and try some lace. Is the lace wings suitable for a begginer lace knitter?

Eek.

I love it! It's beautiful. I've just ordered yarn and a pattern for my first lace stole. I am very excited since I have been seeing so much lace lately.
Where can I get hair like hers?

The pattern in that yarn is beautiful. Alas, I must destash at least 10 kilos before purchasing any yarn. :(
Hugs to your co-working bunners!
=:8

Oh, oh, oh.

i wish i'd been there to see the final shawl. oh well. next week.

That is really gorgeous! I love the color too. Perfect. And it looks great on Tamarah. :)
