you know those long lines for book signings at TNNA shows?

They're now only a memory, except at the book distributors' booths. No more lineups at Interweave or Potter Craft or any other publisher. TNNA made the policy change, effective with the next show (January '07/San Diego). I guess they were sick of all us book-loving knitters cluttering up the aisles. Oh well.

There will be select copies of No Sheep for You at the show, but no signing. I've been told I'll have a copy to tote around, so if you see me, ask and I'll gladly show you my sheepless baby! Interweave, Unicorn and How-To Books will also have copies on display.

For the general public, the book should start peeking out at your LYS at the beginning of March. I haven't seen it yet, so I'm in suspense, too!

Come do a book signing at my yarn shop here....

When shall we have cupcakes , end of feb.?

Baking like a mad women, no wait, I am mad. Now I'm just covered with flour. Cheers.

Lets see. If I send it to you. Will you sign it??!! *smoooooch* good thing we had the retreat when we did as its -40 with the wind chill today!! Don't forget to send me that bag!

Well, it will be a lot easier to get my luggage home! :-)

I'm very excited for you, you must be intensely pleased! Your first really baby, all you, all your hard work. I can't wait to see the book myself, first hand.

I sent you an email with the picture I took of you and Jillian at Rhinebeck, where you were both really really kind and friendly. Did you get it? I was the star-struck dork who hugged you both for writing Big Girl Knits.

I've got the book on order - Hoping it arrives before you arrive at Needles and Knits in March!

We have to do something special for you in NYC! Wheeeee!

People in lines are busy looking around at other stuff and remembering what they want to buy after they get their book signed. Foolish planners.

I knew that was going to happen. I guess I know the TNNA organization too well.....

It was fun while it lasted - even though I never got to participate.

Drats, one of my favorite things is to line up for the books. It does get heavy in the luggage though.
