Knitty's winter issue is alive!

And so am I. Huge relief, because planning to go on the tee veeee and fly all over the place and making a big winter issue aren't necessarily compatible. Somehow, it worked though, and I hope you like the issue.

A lot. You could love it and pet it and call it George, if you wanted to.

This issue of Knitty is brought to you by big band radio, Motta espresso and some pilfered granola bars from the craft table at KG. Don't tell.

Me? I'm going to book a massage.

Comments:
sleep sister! sleep.

I'm about 75% of the way through looking at the patterns and so far, I think it's great! I haven't actually counted but it seems to me that the number of patterns in each issue is increasing which is wonderful. I have also noticed that the sweater patterns include large sizes now as well, another wonderful thing!

Amy, you're a peach, just for all you do for us addicted Knitty-nuts - thank you!

It seems like with each issue, I am more blown away.
Rock on!

Yay you!

thanks so much Amy.

Kim

Every time I think I see my favorite issue of Knitty ... Amy, you're marvelous!

I'm glad you finished in one piece; I was a bit worried about you. The issue looks great, as always.

I would hug you and squeeze you and call you George, but you sound tired. :)

Thank you, Amy. Get some rest.

Twinkletoes is SO on my knitlist. Thanks for another great issue! Now pour yourself a cocktail and put your feet up!

This is such a great issue! Thank you!

I cant wait to make lunch bags for all my girl friends at school- and it actually inspired me to get off my ass and go finish my canvas grocery bags!

I really appreciate the atypical patterns for items you couldn't really find anywhere else (via simple Google search or in a book) - Stuffed animals, bags, innovative hats/leg warmers...

top notch! Muah!

This one totally rocks! :)

Great issue of Knitty! Lots of fun and interesting things. My list of things I want to knit from Knitty seems to get longer every time I look at a new issue or go through the archives. Thanks for all the hard work!

Oy, do you realize I now have to drop ALL 7 WIPs so I can make not one, but two pairs of twinkle toes RIGHT NOW???! See what you do to us?? Seriously - very cool issue. Now go sleep - you earned it!

is there a reason why the fall knitty is loading when redirected from just plain old knitty.com?

Just want to say thanks for another great Knitty!
Have a nice weekend and have a good long night sleep (or two or three...)

Suzanne

Brava! It's a fantastic issue and HUGE!
Thank you!

Love the issue! In one day, I think my to-do list has doubled...

AMY,
Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed opening up Knitty last night to find the new issue. It's really lovely, with an abundance of very desirable patterns, especially the sweaters. Thanks for coming right in time. I think this is one of your best issues yet. I hope hanging out at Lettuce Knit and eating cookies from FreshMart helped you get the editorial blood flowing faster.

Hey Amy!! I haven't dove into the new issue because I fear the craze of new projects on my needles...oh darn it I must go look now! :)

Hope you have a wonderful massage and that your holiday season is happy. :)

Did your candles arrive yet? I hope they bring a smile. :)

Hugs and bunnies,

Wendy Dorrel

the winter issue is fabulous...love it

Great issue! Thought I should mention I did have to go through your blog to get to it.

I love knitty!

One suggestion, though - would it be possible to have the patterns set up "gallery slide-show style"? (i.e. so that once you're in the 'full' view of the pattern, there are 'next' and 'back' links) I hate having to continually go back to the main pattern page...

Thanks, and keep up the good work!

Cool! I've already made a slingshot - you can see a not really great pix at http://baxcraft.wordpress.com/ (Dec 11 entry). My sister is nuts for Starbucks so I'm giving her a SB gift card in an empty SB cup with the slingshot attached. Very cute! Thanks a lot!
