it's today.

Today I see my copy of the latest thing I wrote. I am trying not to plotz or faint, waiting for the FedEx truck to reach my door.

To keep busy, I launched the extra-juicy No Sheep For You website, with almost no content whatsoever.

I wrote all the copy myself. Can you tell? Full-featured site coming soon. Might as well enjoy this one while it lasts.

---

Wow. It's here. Enjoy along with me, will you?

The book is there, wrapped in pretty paper.

Along with, the buttons Franklin illustrated for me. They're giveaways for TNNA next week. :-)

Not only were they a great partner to work with, but Interweave knows what really matters. They send chocolate with your first copy of your own book.

Look! Tuscany really exists! Eeeeeee!

I love this design from Barbara Gregory and obviously Interweave does too -- they put it on the back cover!

I am *so excited* about this book. I'll bring it to Lettuce Knit tonight, so if you want an early peek, come too! There will, I guarantee, be plotzing.

I, too, love that it is free of pork byproducts, and I also love that it will do my laundry! It will be the best book investment I've ever made!

Once again, I regret that I live too far away to drive to Lettuce Knit for a sneak peek.

Mazel tov!

Awesome! Congratulations!

I wish I could dump my date so I could come running to LK. Ok, don't tell my date (AKA: husband) that. Eep!

Yea for you!!

Hearty congratulations! Your heart must have been leaping through your throat waiting for the Real Thing (TM) to arrive. Can't wait to see it for myself - and thanks from those of us, too, who aren't allergic to wool but who live in climates that aren't very wool-friendly.

Congratulations! That's great. Plotz all you want.

OOOHHH! Beautiful!!! Your Tuscany looks wonderful. Now- about the buttons- surely a contributor can get a button, too??????? (too far away to go to TNNA)

Yay! Glad that your book is there. How are the bunnies though?

Definitely plotzworthy! And I love the buttons. Can't wait to see it, (and you of course) this evening!

Congratulations, that is sooo cool. I don't think I'll be goint to LK tonight, I'm not feeling well. But I'll see you next week :)

If I come all the way down to LK - may I have a button?!? puh-puh-pruhtty please?

Dear Amy,

We are so glad you're happy with the book. What fun to "watch" you open it on knitty! It was pleasurable to design, and I really hope knitters are going to love it.

Best,
Paulette (A.D. at Interweave)
