Calling Toronto Knitters! (and those close enough to get here by tomorrow night :-)

My presentation on No Sheep for You at the DKC is tomorrow night already! Will I see you in the audience? Or will there be empty chairs and a big echoey room to present to? (Nervous? Not hardly. Ahem.)

Downtown Knit Collective
Metro-Central YMCA, 2nd floor auditorium
20 Grosvenor Street, Toronto ON
Wednesday, March 28 - doors open at 6:45 pm

Highlights:
- Needle Arts Book Shop is offering copies of No Sheep for You for sale
- I'm not shy with the sharpie if asked
- the entire book will be there in Trunk Show form and yes, you may touch
- post-DKC party at Lettuce Knit, if time permits and they're still hanging out at the shop (I've asked and it looks like we will be in luck, but I'll call before we leave, just to be sure)

I will be there. I have reserved my copy of No Sheep with the delightful Marsha, and will indeed demand that you wield the sharpie on my behalf. I have also wound some Blue Sky Cotton and will be working on parts of their fish pattern Specifically so I won't be knitting sheep on No Sheep day.

As for continuing the party at LK? Dude. Goes without saying.

Let me take for granted that your call to Toronto knitters can be extended to include knitters from out of town, 'cause I am SO going to be there! Marsha has a copy of NSFY reserved for me: I'm lucky enough to have an opportunity to meet you while I'm in Toronto, but still, I wanted to make sure I wouldn't have come all the way from Montreal only to see her sell her last copy before I can get one! I'll be honored to have a trace of your sharpie in it, and will be happy to follow you to the famous Lettuce Knit after the event...
See you tomorrow!

I'm so there. See you tomorrow!

You silly, silly woman, you! The place'll be packed out. A good DKC meeting has over 100 attendees...and I'm pretty darn sure that folks'll be out in force to see you. I suspect the senior members (and by that I mean the women who've been k2p2-ing since long before we were born) will be completely confounded by the influx of others. Heehar!

If I could be there, I would get your autograph in my book and gape at (and fondle) the fashions on show. I would especially like to explore the texture of that wonderful jacket.
But I can't, so somebody do it for me, OK? Thank you very much.

You have no idea how tempted I am to hop in the car tomorrow afternoon and make a run for the border.

Finally got around to listening to the latest episode of Cast On. You were terrific! Very interesting, background on Knitty that I never new (I'll appreciate it even more now). Of course, now I'll have to go out and get No Sheep...

Wish I could be there. I am planning on coming to Toronto one of these days so I hope I'll get to see you soon.
xoxoxo
