I talk a lot

And so I hug Brenda Dayne of Cast On for her skillful editing. We had a great chat over Skype earlier this year, and the result is up on her site right now.

I get very embarrassed when I listen to recordings of my own voice, but Brenda is a great interviewer and she's really good at what she does. Thank you for asking me to be on your show, Brenda! I got to make the Addi Turbo noise happen! Eeeeee!

I know. I don't sound nearly as sultry, sexy and/or intelligent when I hear myself on a recording. I'd be happy with any one of the above three!! Meh!! I'll just never listen to my voice, that's all!!

You sound great!!

Speaking of your brilliant voice, I am very grouchy to be in Ottawa now through Wednesday night for a short-notice work trip and therefore I'll miss your gig at the DKC. Phooey fiddles!!! Break a leg. I'll be there in spirit and I'll wave as the plane flies over...

Great interview, Amy.

I hate hearing my own voice too (not even on voicemail). Shudder.

That's OK, I actually prefer talking to people who are not in love with the sound of their own voices.

Great interview!

Good article. I liked learning about the Knitty philosophy, and you know I like hearing the sound of your voice. Of course, in person you sound more like Greta Garbo. :)

It's a good thing I read this blog before listening to Cast On. When the Addi Turbo noise came along, I knew what it was!!

I had no idea you were going to be on Cast On so I was pleasantly surprised when I listened to the latest episode. I was all "Omigod - I like, know her!" (you know, all Valley-girl like) Good job - great interview!

Yay! Very good interview. It's always fun to hear people's voices. And you made the Addi Turbo noise happen! That's always cool :)

I just listened to the episode, and really enjoyed hearing you and what you had to say. It's fun to put a voice to the words.
