Bee Fields

I just bought this pattern to knit with this --> handspun laceweight yarn.

It seems oddly kismetty that Sarah most-generously gifted me with exactly enough to make the shawl I've been watching Anne design on her blog for weeks now.

Only time will tell if I can actually make the thing grown on my needles. I specialize in mindless lace, and this is anything but mindless. A challenge. We shall see!

You can do it! Just a look at Anne's shawl once in a while will remind you how much this challenge is worth undertaking... and completing! Can't wait to see your version of the bee.

Oooo, pretty. I want to make one too now. It's going on my to knit possibly someday list.

It's a gorgeous shawl and will look stunning in that yarn - Anne is tremendously talented and I love watching her work evolve.

Luscious yarn, bee-yoo-tiful pattern. haha Lead on!

The yarn is beautiful! It will make a gorgeous shawl~

A late comment on the bunny photo. We have a mini rex named Chocolate who is just as chubby wonderful. My daughter nicknamed him "Jabba the Hop."

Don't fret, Amy.
Anne writes an awesome pattern, easy to follow - second only to Sharon Miller and Dorothy from Fiddlesticks. You should be fine.

I'll be getting the kit in the original hand-dye. Maybe we should K2TOG? (smile)

oh that yarn is gorgeous! it is SO bee. i'm sure you can knit this piece. it's a lot of fun, and there really isn't anything new in the stitches. i think the explanations of everything are pretty explicit and in-depth, and hey, you can always email me if you get stuck!

Yay!

Looks perfect for the Siiiiiiiiilk.

(Oh, and should you run out of yarn or get to that OMG-its-getting-too-close-stage I'll be happy to spin up a mini hand for you since I still have plenty of the silk!)
