Sigh.

[i am now impervious from Potter spoilage and am returning to the world.]

It really is a bittersweet kinda feeling. I found myself taking frequent breaks towards the end to grab a snack or make some tea. Anything to prolong the end.

i deeply resent having to have rushed through it so that no one could ruin it for me.

i WILL be listening to the stephen fry audio version in a while...and then i'll savor it.

:-)

My DH is getting me the audio version today so I can listen to it. I can't read with all these small people around.....

Now you can go cruise the neighborhood.

;-)

i finished this morning as well - wonderful and exhausting.

...stephen fry audio version? where can i git me one? i thought the only audio version was jim dale.

amazon.co.uk

:-)

It was so bittersweet to finish it, but the last did all the previous books justice, she carried the suspense as far as she could and then ended just as she had to so we could all stand it. I've only heard the Jim Dale version too, how does the other compare? The Jim Dale version is great.

My husband and I get one book and switch back and forth on who gets to read it. It works out great in that we force the other person to take breaks "Its my turn now" and then we can both talk about it when we are done with out having to wait.

That being said he finished this morning at 4am (not quite sure of the time) I finished at 2.

I have heard about the Stephen Fry versions but my husband is a huge Jim Dale fan. I think though I could bring him around.

I agree it is frustrating to have to avoid spoilers. Dude, it's a BOOK. Millions of other books get published without people walking around blurting out major plot details on the internet and ruining the readers' fun!

It was an engaging read. I can't wait for the film.

yes, i also rushed through and avoided the internets, news and anytyhing else that could have spoiled it for me! i now feel like i'm back in the world...

i loved the ending. it was great.

I rushed through so my kids could read it asap. When they're done, I can read it again. Although Steven Fry is very tempting...

Satisfactory.

Just
Satisfactory.

Ditto on the Sigh! I didn't put it down until it was done. Loved it!!
Unfortunately I got a nasty spoiler virus that gave a whole lot away. Mean, just really mean.
