yes, we're here. we got here tuesday at noonish and both of us were asleep by 3pm that day. we woke up, not kidding, 11 am the next morning. we were exhausted from 12 hours in transit. it's just after 10pm on wednesday now and we're going to sleep.

but the flight over was great, thanks to our amazing 1st row seats in a brand new Boeing [!] 777 jet with more legroom than you can imagine.

so far, we're a bit confoozled in the city, but having Theresa here is so amazing. she's helped us understand the transit system and other Norwegian customs. [tonight, i figured out which bus would get us home and was right. whew.] she's also HUGE fun and seriously adorable, and i know i'm going to miss her big when we leave. but that's not for a week yet. :-)

How truly fabulous! If that sky is really and truly that blue, wow! It looks like knittable fluffy roving in a color I want!

Will you be able to squeeze in at least a daytrip to Sweden? I can take you to the Bohusläns Museum (http://www.bohusmus.se/bohusmus/wwwbohusmus/utland/engelsk.htm) where we can check out Bohus Knitting (http://www.bohusmus.se/bohusmus/wwwbohusmus/utland/Knitting.htm). I've wanted a reason to go there. Or, I could take you to IKEA in Gothenburg. Just let me know if you are interested.

Theresa was my very first downstream secret pal and I adore her too! Have a wonderful time!

totally jealous that you've met Theresa! She wrote the pattern for my first sweater ever.

Yay Theresa has just done me a huge favour and I am in her debt. She rocks! Hello from me..... And I love Oslo....

Jealous! Okay, I AM off to France tomorrow, but as of today I'm jealous! Have an awesome time in Oslo!

Very jealous of your trip to Oslo, looking forward to hearing about it at your Loop workshops on Saturday. I have my No Sheep book, 600m of seasilk and a pair of 3.5mm Addi Lace needles. Woo-hooo!

Oslo is beautiful, isn't it?? October is a great time of year over there. Much jealousy!

Please forgive me for using this format to make this request. I am trying to send Connie Freeman a picture of my socks made from her "Cut Your Teeth" pattern. In the FAQ, every time I click on "Sarah" to contact her, the program pulls up the Mac mail program to which I do not subscribe. Should I try Sarah@knitty.com? Perhaps there are other users not savvy enough to suppress the invocation of mac mail. Perhaps you could list the full EMAIL address, even in words, such as sarah at knitty dot com or something like that.

I did enjoy knitting Connie's pattern which was clear and correct. susan93940m@gmail.com

Have fun! Bring me a present! ;)

let me know if you're around and we can talk!!!

Thank You for visiting Oslo. I had the best time at Thursday evening, and made a little blogpost about your visit: http://home.online.no/~tu-mell/sistenytt.cfm

Hope to see you again some time.

I had every intention to attend at least the opening event Thursday, but a combination of sick children and the fact that Tveita is way the hell out there, got the better of me. What I mean is: Please come back sometime! And come closer to the City, please! So sad to have missed you...

OMG! This is so cool! Have a fabulous time. :)

My aunt & uncle live a stones throw away from Tveita in Oslo and I wish I could have been there but as I live in England now it was a bit too far to go.

Amazing night sky.
