pelican pelican pelican

I've never seen a sunset like this before. Ever. Supposedly they have these every night here.

Wow.

Also, those are pelicans, fishing for dinner in the Gulf. Continued wow.

[see you back in the land of snow and freezing rain...start warming up the hot chocolate, okay?]

Perhaps "every night" is an exaggeration, given that there are sometimes clouds obscuring the horizon, but certainly often enough to tempt you to return, I'm bettin'! That's a gorgeous picture and I'm glad you have enjoyed the scenery in our state. How'd the yarn-store quest go?

What a gorgeous photo! Makes me want to go to wherever you took that.

Looks like the gorgeous sunsets we get here down under (Oz)- Toni's right though, not aaalwayyys, but enough to make it worth your while to get fish'n'chips for dinner and go sit on the beach with loved ones watching the sun go down.. every. night.

hehee!

Glad you had fun Amy! :)

What a beautiful picture!!

man o man I miss those sunsets! I hope you saw 'the green flash' as well, now that would have been the cherry on top!

Stunning!

What a gorgeous sunset. I bet it would make the perfect yarn colourway.
...I'm off to daydream of knitting in such gorgeous colors.

The clouds can make them better, really. There are even more colors then. :D And when there are clouds, the sunset effects last well beyond the moment of sun-popping-below-horizon. I need to start taking more pictures, dangit. ;)
