a Friday gift

We get Project Runway in Canada a month [or more?] after you US guys get it. So I'm always a little behind, but still obsessed. Tivo also helped this season by missing a whole bunch of episodes that it's just now recording, and even though I know who won, I love the show enough to watch the missed stuff out of order. The main reason: this man. Tim Gunn. I adore him.

It occurred to me last night that someone somewhere must have a Tim Gunn ringtone, and so I went looking.

Nothing.

So I made my own. Except that all the true Tim sound bytes I found were fuzzy or indistinct because of all the production music. It's more than amusing, I think, that my final ringtone isn't Tim, but Santino-as-Tim. Feel free to pilfer and use at will.

Nice! When I got my cell phone I desperately wanted the music from Gob's magic act on Arrested Development as my ringtone. I thought this would be impossible to find, but apparently I was the only person on the planet didn't know the song was "The Final Countdown" by Europe. So much for being obscure!

I dropped everything yesterday afternoon to listen to his interview on Q on the CBC. It's probably available as a podcast, or will be soon.

Oh man! Tim Gunn rocks my socks-that he-probably-wouldn't-approve-of! I totally understand about the not getting the show thing, because my dorm this year, has no Bravo. I ended up marathon catching up a few times, but still had the ending ruined.

I know it's Santino, but I LOVE it --I need to figure out how to put this on my phone. I'd love to find one having him say "Make it work" and assign it to my boss's calls. ;o)

I nearly wet my pants during the reunion show when they did the "Best of Santos Doing Tim Gunn." He was spot on, hi-larious. I too love Project Runway, but not having cable TV I have to wait for the season to be released on DVD and Netflix gives me my fix. I am amazed every week what the designers create. Wonderful show.
