whoever invented tissue with lotion, thank you.

When looking for inspiration, do not look deeply into the big bag of used kleenex next to your bed. Because ewww.

So yup, cold. I just had one in February, and loved it so much, I had to do it again! I've heard that quite a few of us SeaSoxers caught this thing, and my sympathies to my fellow snotheads. Since when does NyQuil not put you to sleep? Is nothing sacred?

Okay, /end whining.

Meanwhile, I know I owe you more of a recap, but it ain't coming today. I've got Knitty work to do and my precious vertical time has to be spent wisely.

Achoo.

they stopped putting the psuedoeffedrin into NyQuil so therefore it doesn't allow the deep sleep it use to :-(

There is a tissue with lotion and Vicks menthol. It's the ultimate ultra kleenex. Puffs puts it out.

except don't use the Vicks menthol tissues to dry your eyes after a PMS meltdown. Yea, ouchy.

Feel better!

I guess all that obsessive "sanitary wipe" use from the dispensers all over the ship paid off - I didn't get the cold! (Bless you for taking the bullet for me - hope it's short and uneventful. I owe you one!)(But, I think you shared your tendonitis with me. Ow. Ow. Ow.)

Yea! I ONLY buy the tissues with lotion. Just don't try to clean your glasses with them!

Brenda sees you on the cold front and raises you on the absolutly-bleeding-deaf-as-a-post-from-the-plane.

Much to all our joy.

Hi to Philly,

Oh, dear. I think Brenda wins.

BRENDA! CAN YOU HEAR ME? GET WELL SOON!

We like using cotton handkerchiefs when we have lots of nose blowing to do! They don't leave our noses red and raw the way tissues do and they're environmentally friendly too.

You want the silver Neo-Citran for pseudoephedrine and pass-outs, and the purple Neo-Citran for pseudoephedrine and not pass-outs.

Feeling better yet? Hope so!!!!

Niquil hasn't been the same since they changed the sudafed ingredients! Which totally sucks!

They make those Breath right nose strips with vicks too!

Feel better soon!

Awwwww feel better!

Amy, I don't know about Canada, but in the US you can now get original formula Nyquil if you ask at the pharmacist's counter. Feel better soon.

Hi, Amy, I have a question about a pattern in your latest book (don't you love the sound of that? "...your latest book..."), Summer Chevron to be specific. I want to make it in a different yarn with consequent different gauge (Madil Eden and Eden Print, 100% bamboo, 20st/10cm). After perusing the pattern it looks to me like the only major changes I need to make to the pattern are:

* Recalculate the number of stitches to cast on at the beginning;

* Work more rows to account for the more rows/inch factor of using a thinner yarn;

* Keep going until the front is long enough, then start the side section part of the pattern.

Am I missing anything major? It seems to me that this pattern lends itself beautifully to different yarns/gauges -- I'd just like a little reassurance. Thanks! kmkatt AT [rhymes with wahoo] dot com
