I'm sure squeezle has more exciting weekends than I do. This afternoon, I'm driving to the coast to deal cards at a casino party in a lumberyard. (Hopefully it will be cooler at the coast than the expected 103F here today.) Tomorrow is a full day at the yarn shop. Sunday is a full day of transcribing. In between, I hope to get more rows done on my Hanami stole. :)
Sitting at home by myself with my two babies because my hubby has gone off to the wedding of someone I dislike/distrust greatly. I feel like poop because of what I have going on...
SO...
I plan to do nothing other than care for the kids and KNIT KNIT KNIT! No dusting, no laundry, no scrubbing of things... just me, the kiddos, the Olympics and my yarn!
I am having a date with only my husband. My inlaws leave today to go to my B&SILs, four of the boys are staying with friends and I am finally going to enjoy a relaxing dinner with only the company of my best friend.
Knitting and possibly writing up the pattern for a spring sweater I designed and have been wearing around for a couple of weeks now.
I always have trouble with the bit of the design process where you actually have to sit down and think about things in ways that make sense to other people! :D
Blocking my peacock feathers shawl, shoppping for my brothers wedding, getting some full on Clapotis action happening (first one, FINALLY!!) and resting up after a week at the cottage. Tough life, I know. Squeezle is so adorably cute!! What is Squeezle up to this weekend?
Hi Squeezle! I'm going to go give my bunny, Rudy, a big hug and get him his dinner, and then I'm going to spin for a while to celebrate the 61st anniversary of India's Independence. Forehead rubs to you!
Heading over to the Fiber Revival in Newbury, MA (I'm not usually up this early on Saturday!) - can't wait for my first "real" spinning class after doing it for 2 years!
Spending the night at a sleep clinic to be prescribed a CPAP.
Because of this I'm looking forward to having more energy and stamina for knitting. =)
Love your rabbit, hon.

Walk to the ship canal and drink a cup of coffee with a dear friend and talk, watch Olympics, knit on the Butterfuly Moebius and think about the 6 WIP's I have scattered around the living room.
Oh, and make my daughters clean the guinea pig cage!

Reading plays, watching auditions, tracking down actors and then we have a board meeting. And I took my mommy to see a play: Hedwig and the Angry Inch (I have a very tolerant mommy!)
I work for a small independent theatre company. There is no weekend.
