Napi, a free knitting pattern from Knitty.com. Free knitting pattern for a assymetrical shawl with simple lace and areas of stockinette.
INTRODUCTION
Napi
When I first showed Amy Singer, Knitty's editor, the Lana Grossa 365 yarn line, she was quite impressed. The thing that makes these yarns different is that they are completely interchangeable. Available in three unique fiber blends (Cotton, Cashmere and Yak) and constructed using the chainette construction, these yarns have a great hand, wonderful stitch definition and an inspiring color palette.
Worked in six sections and just challenging enough to stay interested, but not so much as to interrupt binge watching TV, this pattern combines interesting (and very easy) lace as well as my all-time favorite technique short rows. Celebrating the name of the line, we called this shawl Napi, which means "every day" in Hungarian.
I hope you enjoy knitting this as much as I did. I can’t wait to see your color choices!
