Have
you ever gone camping? Frankly, I'm not much for
the bugs or dirt, but of course my kids love camping....
and bugs and dirt! I always bring my sock knitting
when we camp.
These socks were conceived the moment
I laid eyes on the beautiful skein at my local LYS
and they were knit sitting at the campfire.
The color reminded me of fall and the big orange moon you might see that
time of year. I wanted cables all over but also wanted to play a little
with the gusset by splitting the cable, something that had been playing
around in my mind.
