[MC] Schachenmayr Nomotta Brazilia/Salsa [100% Polyester; 90m per 50g skein];
color: Purple[Cassette Player Snuggler] or Blue [CD Player Snuggler]; 1 skein makes both Snuggler sets.

[CC] Schachenmayr Nomotta Bravo [100% Polyacryl; 150m per 50g skein];
color: Black; 1 skein makes both Snuggler sets. [American knitters: Feel free to substitute Red Heart worsted weight yarn.]

DIRECTIONS

Headphone Snugglers [Make Two, You!]

Holding one strand Bravo and one strand Brasilia together, CO 6 sts.

Row 1 and every odd row: Purl.
Row 2 and following 2 even rows: M1, k to last stitch, M1.

Continue until there are 12 sts on the needles.

Work these 12 sts in St st for 1 inch, ending with a purl row.

Next and following 2 even rows [RS]: Skp, k to last st, k2tog.

Continue decreasing until there are 6 sts on the needle.

BO, leaving an 8-inch long tail of yarn at the end. This will be used to gather the circle into a little cover for each earpiece.

Cassette [CD] Player Snuggler

Holding one strand Bravo and one strand Brasilia together, CO 25 sts.
Work in St st for 8 [12] inches.

Begin decrease rows of button flap:

Next row [RS]: Skp, knit to last st, k2tog.
Next Row: Knit.

Repeat previous 2 rows until 4 sts remain on needle.

Work in garter stitch for 3 rows.

Next row [make buttonhole]: k2, YO, k2.

Next row: Skp, k to last ststitch, k2tog. [3 sts remain.]

Next row: K3tog, cut yarn and pull the tail through the last remaining st to knot the yarn.

 
FINISHING

Headphone Snugglers

Using the darning needle and tail of yarn, gather each earpiece cover and secure [tie] to earpieces.

Player Snugglers

Fold rectangluar piece in half and stitch up each side. Weave in ends.
Sew on button.
Insert Cassette [Compact Disc] player

Rock out!
