didja see?
You might not know this, but I'm a fanatic for socks made from cotton/elastic yarn. Up till now, the only choice has been Cascade Fixation. Today, go to Elann and click on "what's new" and you'll see their cotton/elastic blend...and it's so cheap! Two balls make a pair of socks using Wendy Johnson's toe-up sock pattern, and they're the comfiest socks you'll ever knit out of cotton. They keep their shape!

I've been thinking about doing an Aran in double-stranded cotton/elastic [since I'm allergic to wool]. Now might be the time to stock up.

By the way, I get Elann's newsletter, and it says that next Tuesday, they're offering a variegated version of this yarn in some really pretty colorways. I'll be right there at 9am to stock up! Wahoo!
